Senior Storage Architect (M/F)

Task description

As a Senior Storage Architect, you will be responsible to

v  Outline storage solution architecture descriptions, then monitor and govern their implementation

v  Survey market landscape for solution insights, direction, vendors, and methods

v  Provides expertise to identify and translate requirements into solution

v  Build storage architecture according to customer's requirements and needs

v  Bring expertise about applications and products interoperability

v  Manage the migrations and evolutions of the architecture

v  Help business development to qualify business opportunities

v  Sell company solutions through technical skills/competencies

Your profile

v  Degree in Computer Sciences or another degree with a strong ICT affinity (Bachelor or higher).

v  Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.

v  Deep knowledge of storage technologies (includ. remote mirroring and multipathing) as Channel Fiber, iSCSI, SAN, NAS, Archiving, Back‑up/Restore, storage architectures, virtualisation, deduplication, VTL, tape, back-up to disk.

v  Very good knowledge of concepts as ILM, storage tiering, Enterprise Content Management, Business continuity and High Availability.

v  Knowledge of some of the following platforms and products, especially their link to the storage environment:

·         HP Storage environment (EVA, 3par)

·         Netapp FAS, Netarchive, Nearstore, MetroCluster

·         Backup solutions

·         VMWare

v  Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French or German. 

v  High level of interpersonal and communication skills.

v  Team Spirit.

v  Project Management Skills.
